Joanne Jobin has convened her own Mining and Investment Event in Quebec and shares what it feels like when a dream becomes real. In conversation with Lynnel, Joanne shares the things she wanted to do ‘differently’ and the outcomes achieved, along with the challenges life threw her way as she was launching the conference on the tail end of the pandemic. With all the mining ‘players’ in mind, her conference now has major sponsors, mining companies, investors, and students who return and mentor first time attendees in their networking with executives, and the investors get true quality time with mining companies. It worked and it’s growing!
