
Proceeds to be Used to Accelerate the Development of the United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp
Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE American: UEC), announced the closing of its recently announced public offering of 15,500,000 shares of common stock, at a price of $13.15 per Share, for gross proceeds of $203,825,000. In connection with the Offering, the Company has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,325,000 Shares of its common stock.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to accelerate the development of a new, state-of-the-art American uranium refining and conversion facility through its wholly owned subsidiary, United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp. as well as for general corporate and working capital purposes, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC acted as the sole underwriter for the Offering.
The Company has filed a registration statement (including a prospectus) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission which became automatically effective upon filing on November 16, 2022.
