Beginning with her first mining job as a housekeeper at a diamond mine right after her high school graduation, Katrina talks with Lynnel about adapting to camp life, overcoming personal losses, and transitioning through roles in education, administration, recruitment, and ultimately, recruitment leadership. In her current role managing recruitment and benefits for an Indigenous business, the Tlicho Investment Corporation, Katrina now works with multiple companies to find, provide, and support employees in the mining industry.
