Quiulacocha Tailings 40-Hole Drill Campaign: Full Speed Ahead !

We are excited to report that Cerro de Pasco Resources Inc. (CDPR) is making significant progress in our Quiulacocha Tailings 40-Hole Drill Campaign. The first batch of drill samples has been safely transported to Lima for geochemical testing. Initial results expected soon will reveal metal concentrations and for the first time involve sampling at foundation depth using 60-element geochemical assays.

To support our drilling program, we are pleased to introduce a Sonic Drill, which provides continuous, high-quality samples with minimal disturbance and no water usage, reducing environmental impact, enhancing resource recovery, and improving data quality.

We remain on track to complete the 40-hole campaign during this dry season, lasting until the end of October, with spirits high as we advance towards our goal!

In the upcoming phase, to prevent oxidation and preserve microstructural integrity, samples will be stored and transported to Lima in freezer containers, preventing lab delays and maintaining momentum.

Upon arrival in Lima, samples will be dried and assayed at the Inspectorate Services Lab (Bureau Veritas). Once geochemical and mineralogical testing is completed, select samples will be blended into representative composites and sent to Bureau Veritas Antofagasta (Chile) for advanced metallurgical testing.

Meanwhile, CDPR has successfully concluded Phase 1 of our geophysical studies, covering the dry area of the Quiulacocha Tailings, with exciting findings: depth readings range from 20 to over 40 meters in certain areas.

Our aim is to collect over 1,000 samples offering a detailed overview of the project’s potential. We look forward to keeping you in the loop as we progress!
