We define what predatory short selling is; how it started after ending the uptick rule; what the uptick rule was; and the end results on the markets.
Change is starting to happen. South Korea has recently banned naked short selling on their national stock exchange. In the United a recent court case of Harrington Global v CIBC International Markets et al has opened the door for banks and brokerages to be held liable for the actions of individuals on their platforms.
