Prospector News Podcast – “Ryan Sistad of Better in Our Back Yard Gives us an Update on Northern Minnesota”

Prospector News Publisher, Michael Fox is joined by “Better in Our Backyard” Executive Director Ryan Sistad to provide us with updates on projects in Northern Minnesota. T

he big news is PolyMet and Teck has forged an alliance to work together to bring their 2 big projects, to the finish line.

We address comments from Twitter on our last podcast regarding the viability of Recycling and some of the intrinsic challenges. Recycling cannot solve all the demand but can help in providing enough materials according to Robert Friedland to replace the need for 1 nickel mine in the future. In short Recycling needs to be a part of the solution but we need to find new technologies to make it more environmentally safe.
