Prospector News Podcast – “Bactech Environmental Moves Rapidly Towards Two Distinct Goals”

Prospector News Publisher Michael Fox Talks to the President and CEO of Bactech Environmental about their Bioleaching Projects in Sudbury and Ecuador.

It’s early days in Sudbury, but the company has secured funding to prove its preliminary patent process to separate Nickel, cobalt and iron from Pyrrhotite Concentrate. Once proven the company hope to move the project forward to a test plant to prove its commercialization

In Ecuador the company has secured it’s permitting for the Bioleaching plant (gold/copper) being built there. In recent weeks it has signed several agreements with local artisanal miners to provide mineral stock to the plant for processing. The project remains on time for commissioning in early 2023.
