Power Metallic Mines (TSX-V: PNPN) (OTCQB: PNPNF), formerly known as Power Nickel Inc., is a Canadian junior exploration company focused on developing the NISK polymetallic deposit into a carbon-neutral and reliable source of critical minerals and battery metals. The company changed its name from Power Nickel Inc. to Power Metallic Mines Inc. in February 2025 to reflect its broader polymetallic focus.

Power Metallic is advancing one of North America’s most promising battery metal projects, with the ambition of becoming the “Canadian Norilsk” due to the supergiant potential of its flagship NISK discovery. The project targets high-grade nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum, palladium, gold, and silver deposits in Quebec’s James Bay region—a tier-one mining jurisdiction with stable regulations and strong political support for critical mineral development.

About the NISK Project

The NISK project is Power Metallic’s flagship asset, located near Nemaska, Quebec, beside a major highway and across the road from a Hydro-Québec substation supplying inexpensive, low-carbon hydropower. The project benefits from existing critical infrastructure, including a nearby town and airport, and features shallow average mineral depth.

NISK has the potential to be a polymetallic supergiant with high grades of copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, cobalt, gold, and silver. The presence of ultramafic tailings enables significant carbon sequestration to offset the project’s emissions, positioning NISK to become the world’s first carbon-neutral nickel mine.

On February 1, 2021, Power Metallic completed the acquisition of its option to acquire up to 80% of the Nisk project from Critical Elements Lithium Corp.

Peter Kent – Chairman

Formerly with the TecSyn Group of Companies where he was Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Peter brings over 25 years of business experience regarding complex business and legal affairs. In addition to his time at TecSyn, Peter was a corporate commercial lawyer at Bassel Sullivan, a Toronto-based boutique law firm.

Terry Lynch – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lynch graduated in 1981 from St. Francis Xavier University with a joint honours degree in Economics and BBA. Prior to becoming a director with International PBX Ventures in 2012, Mr. Lynch had been CEO of privately held Nevada-focused Relief Gold. He also served as a director and later CEO of TSX-listed Firstgold Corp., assuming the CEO position after the company encountered financial difficulty bringing its Relief Canyon mine into production. He arranged a sale of 51% of the company for a total capital injection of $26.5 million from Northwest Non-Ferrous Metals, one of China’s largest mining engineering and consulting groups.

From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Lynch was a partner with Kingsmill Capital Partners, a financial advisory firm specializing in advising public and private early-stage growth companies. Prior to joining Kingsmill Capital, he spent 15 years operating startup companies in industrial products, oil and gas, and media. Mr. Lynch is also a co-founder of Cardiol Therapeutics, a NASDAQ and TSX-listed clinical-stage life sciences company focused on the research and clinical development of cannabidiol as an anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory therapy for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Joe Campbell – VP, Exploration

Joe Campbell, BSc, P. Geo, brings over 40 years of extensive experience in mineral exploration and project management to Power Metallic as Vice President of Exploration. A seasoned industry veteran, Joe has held senior roles in geology and resource development, including Chief Geologist (open pit and underground) and Project Manager for significant projects like Meliadine Gold, now operated by Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM). He is the former President, Executive Chairman, and COO of Gold Terra (formerly TerraX) and has expertise across a wide range of deposit types, including mesothermal and epithermal gold, VMS, porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum, and nickel sulfide and laterite deposits. Joe also has a strong background in resource and reserve estimation, economic assessments, and environmental reviews. His career includes leadership in Western Mining’s Canadian division, where his work in project acquisition and development aligned with Power Metallic’s data-driven exploration approach.

Duncan Roy – VP, Investor Relations

Duncan Roy is a University of Western Ontario graduate with a BA in Political Science. He brings a sophisticated, highly experienced, and diverse knowledge base to his current role with Power Metallic. Since 2019, he has run a highly successful Capital Markets Advisory company. Prior to that, he spent over three decades in the brokerage industry, based in Toronto, as a retail broker with a PDO designation and various management roles.

Ximena Perez – Managing Director, Chile

Ms. Perez has 13 years of experience in Chile as an exploration and production geologist. The first 5 years were as a production geologist in underground mining in copper. She then developed a career as an Exploration Geologist with extensive experience in drilling program supervision, data management, and geological modeling. She participated in the exploration for the expansion of Skarn Las Cenizas (Cu-Ag), Talcuna (stratabound and veins Cu-Au) deposits; Punitaqui (stratabound and veins Cu-Ag-Au) and Dayton (epithermal Au), in these last two as Chief Exploration Geologist. She has experience in exploration consultancies for medium-sized mining, as well as independent work in resource inventories. The last 2 years were as Exploration Geologist for Chilean Metals Inc., a Canadian junior exploration company, and from 2018 to date as Managing Director Chile in the company.

Robert Suttie – Chief Financial Officer

Robert Suttie serves as Chief Financial Officer and has held the position since February 2019.markets.ft.

Seamus O’Regan – Director

Seamus O’Regan Jr. joined Stewart McKelvey, Atlantic Canada’s largest law firm, in March of 2025 as Senior Business Advisor following a distinguished career in politics and journalism. He was first elected Member of Parliament for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl in 2015, and re-elected in 2019 and 2021. He served as Canada’s Minister of Energy & Natural Resources, overseeing Canada’s first Critical Minerals Plan, the Critical Minerals List, the National Hydrogen Plan, and the Small Modular Reactor Action Plan. He has also served as Minister of Indigenous Services, Minister of Labour, Minister for Seniors, Minister of Veterans Affairs, and Associate Minister of National Defence.

O’Regan was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and raised in Goose Bay, Labrador. He studied politics at St. Francis Xavier University and University College, Dublin, and marketing strategies at INSEAD, near Paris. In 1999, he graduated with a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, with a focus on Indigenous participation in large-scale natural resource development. He began his career in the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, first as executive assistant to Minister of Justice & Attorney General Edward Roberts, then as policy director to Premier Brian Tobin. Seamus went on to work as a journalist, notably for a decade as a host of CTV’s Canada AM, the country’s leading morning news program. Seamus is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and has served on the Boards of World Wildlife Fund Canada, Canada World Youth, Katimavik, The Company Theatre, and The Rooms. He is proud to have been an Ambassador for Bell Let’s Talk, removing stigma around mental illness.

Greg McKenzie – Director

Greg, LL.B, MBA, is a senior investment banker with 20 years of experience in financing, M&A, financial advisory, valuation, and strategic advice primarily to mid-cap companies. His transactions are valued in excess of $18 billion. Mr. McKenzie has worked in New York and Toronto and has held positions with Morgan Stanley, CIBC World Markets, Haywood Securities, and Salman Partners. While at these firms, Greg advised managements and boards of companies in various sectors including: metals & mining, industrials, consumer products, technology, and healthcare. Mr. McKenzie was also called to the bar in New York and Ontario and practiced law with a leading Canadian securities and M&A law firm.

Les Mallard – Director

Mr. Mallard is a graduate from The University of Prince Edward Island with a BA in Economics. He has spent 30+ years in the Canadian Produce Industry employed in various capacities with Chiquita Canada and Chiquita Brands North America. Retiring from Chiquita in 2017, he started Mallard Produce Solutions, a produce consulting company focused on providing North American and Latin American clients business solutions to expand their market potential. Les is on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Produce Marketing Association, a not-for-profit organization that represents companies active in the marketing of fresh fruits and vegetables in Canada. Les is also on the Board of Directors for Hydroponic Life, a privately held company that has developed ground-breaking produce growing technologies that could revolutionize the vertical farming industry.

Steve Beresford – Director

Dr. Steve Beresford (FAIG, FSEG) is an internationally renowned geoscientist specializing in polymetallic systems, particularly Nickel-Copper-PGE deposits. Dr. Beresford’s career includes being Chief Geologist of three major mining companies, a lecturer and professor, and the founder of several exploration companies. Steve began his exploration career at WMC Resources and has gone on to do field exploration in 66 countries, largely for magmatic Nickel-Copper-PGE deposits. Steve is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia and a board member of AGEMERA in Europe. Steve received his BSc Honours and PhD from the University of Canterbury.
