Alaska Silver (TSX-V: WAM) (Frankfurt: M17) (OTCPK: WAMFF) is advancing a prolific 8-km mineral corridor hosting two significant deposits. Our flagship high-grade silver deposit at Waterpump Creek, which contains gallium (the U.S. #1 critical mineral), and the historic Illinois Creek mine anchor our 100% owned carbonate replacement system across an expansive, underexplored landscape.
2025 Focus: Targeting additional high-grade silver discoveries at Waterpump Creek South and initiating studies on gallium recovery potential.
Community & Land
Land
All claims controlled by Alaska Silver as well as proposed development infrastructure lie on lands owned by the State of Alaska and are subject to State of Alaska mining claim regulations.
Community
As part of the Alaska Silver culture, our commitment to the local communities involves building strong relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and open communication. We share common goals including environmental stewardship and maximizing local employment as part of our work force. Beginning in 2017 when WAM was still private, we also began offering local training programs and scholarship initiatives in the nearby villages. In addition to hiring contract companies from these villages, we are delighted to share that between 2022 and 2023, approximately 30 members of our camp workforce hailed from the nearby communities of Galena, Nulato, Koyokuk and Kaltag, with an impressive payroll of >USD$478,000.
Furthermore, we take pride in the fact that we welcome leaders from the nearby communities to the Illinois Creek Mining project annually so that they may see and better understand our project and what we do.
These examples of collaboration, ongoing communication, and transparency reflect our steadfast commitment to responsible operations in western Alaska and support our goal of developing long-term relationships in the surrounding villages.
