Unleash Live will run live demonstrations of Prism, its always-on monitoring product for concentrated, high-activity sites, at the International Mining and Resources Conference 2026, ICC Sydney, 27 to 29 October, Booth M36. Visitors can see first hand how to build and run computer vision AI Apps on the stand using Mobius, the company’s development environment for computer vision applications.
Prism provides continuous visual coverage of operational sites using the camera infrastructure operators already have, surfacing perimeter, access and safety events as they occur. At Worsley Alumina in Western Australia, Prism has been deployed at two of the highest-risk control points on any open-cut site: intersections, where vehicle stop compliance has historically gone unmeasured, and site access boom gates, where prestart safety checks sat on paper checklists no one could audit in real time.
Vehicular interaction is a factor in a significant proportion of Australian workplace fatalities from traumatic injury, and mining carries one of the highest fatality rates of any industry in the country. Where a conventional check records only whether a vehicle stopped, the deployed model classifies every vehicle into one of three states against a site-configurable threshold, distinguishing a rolling stop from a full stop. Compliance at monitored intersections has improved measurably since deployment, and the site’s safety team now feeds stop-line and approach-speed data into intersection redesign, engineering the risk down rather than relying on driver behavior alone.
“This isn’t computer vision replacing the person. The validation piece is the most important part,” said Cameron Gauci, Senior Specialist Mining, Worsley Alumina. “What it’s done is shorten the response time, whether that’s from a breach or through behavioral change, and make it short, sharp and directed.”
The deployment began as a single intersection and expanded use case by use case, a sequence the site team characterizes as pilot first, proof before scale.
“Whilst I’ve been driving it from a site base, I haven’t been alone,” Gauci said. “We’ve been able to talk, work out what we want to do and how to approach it, and then work together. The speed of executing on that has been remarkable, which is why we’ve embedded this into our operation so quickly.”
The same detection framework has since been deployed to monitor a level crossing for an Australian state transport authority, tracking approach speed, stopping behavior and pedestrian presence in the crossing zone.
“Every open-cut mine runs multiple stop signs and boom gates, and every rail network runs level crossings by the hundreds,” said Hanno Blankenstein, Co-Founder and CEO of Unleash Live. “These are control points where something either happens correctly or it doesn’t, and until now almost none of them were measured. That is the scale of what enterprise computer vision is now addressing across the mining industry.”
Alongside Prism, Unleash Live will demonstrate Orb, which delivers automated inspections across dispersed and hard-to-reach assets, combining automated inspection missions, standardized capture, computer vision and geospatial data into a single inspection program.
Visitors to Booth M36 can run Unleash Live’s AI Apps live on the stand, including. The AI App Store carries detection and classification models across utilities, oil and gas, mining, and public safety use cases, and attendees can select an industry sample and watch detection and classification run in real time at unleashlive.com/product/ai-apps.
The stand will also show Mobius, Unleash Live’s development environment for building computer vision apps: models plus the logic that puts them to work. Mobius combines media storage, dataset building, model training and the operational logic around them, severity, thresholds, event logic and alerting, in one environment on one continuous loop. Apps built in Mobius deploy directly into Prism and Orb.
Unleash Live is at Booth M36 for the duration of IMARC 2026. Attendees can request a technical briefing at the stand.
About Unleash Live
Unleash Live is an enterprise industrial computer vision company. It standardizes how infrastructure operators capture, analyze and act on visual data across sites, asset classes and operational functions, through three products: Orb, for automated inspections across dispersed and hard-to-reach assets; Prism, for always-on monitoring across concentrated, high-activity sites; and Mobius, for building and deploying custom computer vision AI Apps.
Unleash Live is deployed by critical infrastructure operators across utilities, mining, oil and gas, transport, public safety and renewables, including Fortune 50 companies. Deployments run on hybrid edge and cloud architecture, hardware-agnostic and multi-site from day one, built for organizations operating under data sovereignty mandates and security audit requirements.
Unleash Live won the 2025 AFR AI Award for Productivity and Efficiency in Energy and Australian AI Award for Responsible AI, and was named to the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch list in 2025.
We are also 2026 finalists for S&P Global Energy Awards: Commercial Technology, AI Awards: AI Innovator Utilities and AI Innovator Energy Sector.
