This Week on the CSE Nov. 5th through Nov. 9th

By Christian Granholm

Historic mid-terms continue to cause market ripples in the US and in Canadian markets to a lesser extent. Investors are faced with the same questions as Florida voters: when can we get off Mr. Trump’s Wild Ride?

Meanwhile north of the border, Canadians celebrate the 151st anniversary of the first sitting of Parliament. On Nov. 6Th, 1867,  John A. McDonald’s Conservative government had just one the very first Canadian election, and they set about opening the country for business.

If only they could see what we’ve done with the place since.

This stock split will increase liquidity, allowing more investors to buy and sell our shares as we continue our ambitious expansion into 2019,”said Andy Wnek, Beleave CEO. “Our stock is already affordable, and liquidity will free up additional shares to trade, which in turn helps Beleave realize its true value.”

We’re pleased to see our American friends making small but significant moves towards legalization.

The midterm elections passed medical cannabis ballot proposals in two states this week, including legalized recreational pot in Michigan. While it’s a far cry from nationwide recreational legalization, Utah and Missouri decided patients should have access to medical marijuana and joined many other states with the adoption of comprehensive medical marijuana programs.

The tally is now at thirty three states plus the territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Northern Mariana Islands and the District of Columbia who have the option to prescribe cannabis for specific conditions.

How long before we can buy a Trump branded pre-roll? I’m guessing legalization might be one of the last things he does on his way out of office. Can’t you just see the packaging already? It’ll be the one with all the gold…
