SOMA GOLD REPORTS Q2 GOLD PRODUCTION OF 8,897 AuEq OUNCES
Soma Gold Corp. (TSX-V: SOMA) (WKN: A2P4DU) (OTC: SMAGF) is pleased to announce that the Company produced 8,897 AuEq ounces during the second quarter ended June 30, 2023. Production exceeded the planned 8,450 ounces by 5%.
Javier Cordova, Soma’s President and CEO, states, “The team managing the Cordero Mine continues to surpass planned production and expects to exceed guidance for the full year. We are very pleased as our operations at Cordero transition from the construction phase to the optimization phase.”
ABOUT SOMA GOLD
Soma Gold Corp. is a mining company focused on gold production and exploration. The Company owns two adjacent mining properties in Antioquia, Colombia with a combined milling capacity of 675 tpd. (Permitted for 1,400 tpd). The El Bagre Mill is currently operating and producing. Internally generated funds are being used to finance a regional exploration program.
The Company also owns an exploration property near Tucuma, Para State, Brazil that is currently under option to Ero Copper Corp.
