Prospector News Podcast – Peter Krauth “Gold and Silver Break Their Seasonal Norms for July”
Prospector News Publisher, Michael Fox is joined by the Silver Stock Investor Peter Krauth to discuss the July performance of the precious metals including their ETFs. July normally has a season bias to the downside but that was broken as both Gold and Silver moved up from their recent bottom at the end of June. Regardless of the uptrend both metals remain in the box formation they have held for longer than the markets would like. Peter suggests it will require a clear indication from the Fed that they are done with intere rate hikes before the metals moved significantly higher out of the box.
The Miner ETFs (GDX, GDXJ, SIL, SILJ) continue to trail the metals but were also up for the month regardless of the seasonal downward bias.
