Prospector Podcast – Joe Kizis: Bravada Gold’s Exploration Plans and Key Nevada Projects

n this episode Michael Fox and Joe Kizis, President and CEO of Bravada Gold (TSX-V: BVA) (SSE:BRTN) (OTCQB: BGAVF), the discussion centered on the company’s strategic activities and projects. Bravada Gold operates primarily in Nevada, focusing on exploring and developing mining projects before passing them on to larger mining companies.

Company Overview and Project Highlights

• Project Portfolio: Bravada Gold has eight active projects in Nevada and holds a royalty on a project in Ontario. Their flagship project, Wind Mountain, has been extensively explored, revealing significant mineralization since its previous operations. A recent study indicated that Wind Mountain could produce between 40,000 to 50,000 ounces of gold annually for four to five years, with potential for further discoveries.

• Exploration Strategy: The company employs a prospect generator model, identifying promising projects and then partnering with other mining companies for further development. Joe emphasized the importance of knowing when to transition a project to another party, which is crucial for maximizing value. Expansion Plans

• Mining Operations: Bravada is planning to expand its mining operations by establishing an additional pad site to accommodate more material storage. However, this expansion is expected to extend the project’s timeline by two years. Joe also mentioned ongoing discussions with smaller mining companies for potential partnerships or sales of their operations.

• New Opportunities: Joe highlighted a new project in the East Walker area, which he has monitored for years. He pointed out several significant gold deposits in the region, including historical mines like Aurora and Borealis, as well as Newmont’s recent discovery at Spring Peak. The geological similarities between these sites and Yellowstone Park have sparked optimism regarding gold potential despite limited deep drilling.

Project Updates

• Baxter and Highland Projects: The conversation also covered updates on the Baxter and Highland projects. Baxter has seen drilling efforts from Kinross and Endeavor Silver, while Highland is noted for its high-grade mineralization and potential new discoveries. Joe expressed confidence that these projects could attract further interest due to their promising characteristics.

Bravada Gold continues to position itself strategically within Nevada’s lucrative gold mining landscape, leveraging partnerships and exploration insights to enhance its project portfolio and operational efficiency.
