Prospector Podcast – Chris Temple: Fed Holds Rates. Stagflation Warning & Tariff Turmoil

In this episode, Michael Fox is Joined by Chris Temple of the National Investor as they review the most recent Federal Reserve interest rate announcement. As with most Fed announcements although rates remained the same the devil is in the details of the post announcement presser. Powell listed off numerous details whom outcomes are unknown and there was not enough information for the Feds to comment on future rates.

We focused on the statement from Powell that stagflation was a possible outcome. Chris has been discussing this as a possibility for months and we go back to those comments. We also look to the oil market as to why we don’t believe that inflation is done with us.
