Prospector News Publisher Michael Fox is joined by Ryan Sistad the Executive Director of Better in Our Backyard for a discussion on permitting reform in the United States. Recently there have been 2 permitting victories The Resolution Copper project given the judicial green light in Arizona and South 32’s Manganese project also in Arizona getting fast tracked. We discuss the need of permitting reform to maximize the success of the “Green Projects” in the Inflation Reduction Act. We also spotlight the efforts of Senator Joe Mancin of Virginia to spearhead a bipartisan effort to have meaningful permit reform at a Federal level in the US.
