Prospector News Podcast – Kai Hoffman “Financings are Lagging Behind Metals Prices”

 

 

 

 

On location at the Current Trends in Mining Finance Conference put on by the NY Chapter of the SME, Michael Fox is joined by of Soar Financial the producers of the Oreninc Index. During our talk we discuss the current state of mining finance with the Junior placement market tracking well below 2023’s mark at this stage. Lower stock prices have meant that many companies have delayed their financing plans to wait out higher values in their stock. Kai feels that the second half of 2024 may bring more favorable terms for the miners and that may lead to 2024 ending on par with 2023.
