Prospector News Podcast – David Erfle “The Planets Were Not Aligned for Precious Metals in September”

Prospector News Publisher Michael Fox is joined by the Junior Miner Junky, David Erfle as we look at the Precious Metals markets in September. September was a terrible month for gold, silver and the miners. There was nothing but headwinds and Gold threatened to fall through a trap door as the 200- and 50-day moving averages threatened to cross on the downside. Fortunately, they bounced and tested that bottom but failed to break through that trap door. Silver broke down following gold as did the miners without much volume and little bids.

Looking forward to October, domestic politics, the Fed and world events seem to be putting a bid back under the precious metal. Congressional turmoil and the increasing likelihood of a highly contested Presidential contest between 2 flawed candidates will provide domestic challenges in the United States. Couple that with the Fed’s desire to continue to hike rates to fight inflation will continue to affect the markets. Couple that with the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East pushing a flight to safety we live in interesting times indeed!

At the end Michael Gives a special Invitation for investors to attend the New Orleans Investment Conference. Regardless of what happens in the Mideast and when, we are about to enter a tremendously bullish environment for gold, silver and mining stocks. The timing is perfect for this year’s New Orleans Investment Conference, convening in just a few weeks. You’ll not only hear from many of today’s top geopolitical analysts, but also leading macroeconomic thinkers and the most successful mining stock pickers in the business.
