Prospector News Podcast – David Erfle “Summer Doldrums Equals Crickets in the Markets”

Prospector News Publisher Michael Fox talks with the Junior Miner Junky David Erfle about the Gold and Silver Markets this Summer. Gold and Silver always have a seasonal downward bias in the summer months. This Summer has been different in a couple of subtle ways. July was actually up before August came and drove the commodities back down. The “Silver Lining” has been that silver has outperformed gold and brought the Gold:Silver Ratio back below the key level of 80. We discuss the reasons for silver’s overperformance. We also discuss the miners and why they remain underperformers compared with the commodities. The consensus being that gold and silver is going to break out to the upside and this will cause these undervalued assets to bring potential outsized gains.
