PDAC – Women in Mining Canada: International Networking Reception

Take advantage of a global networking opportunity at the 6th annual Women in Mining International Reception hosted by Women in Mining, Canada. Take the steps to our new location in the North Building and explore the world of careers that make our industry move!

 

 

This interactive networking reception is designed to bring together industry leaders, academia, employers, students and job seekers. With a key focus on women in mining and the many WIM branches that serve the global mining community; WIM Canada will announce and honour the Trailblazer Award recipient during the networking reception.

 

 

From seasoned professionals to the new faces and next generation of mining and exploration – all women and men are welcome to attend!  Enjoy a little afternoon food and drink and come prepared to tell us; Where has your career taken you?

 

 

This reception is full of the energy that will fuel your PDAC experience!  Program includes:

3:05PM – Welcome

3:10PM – Keynote Address: Honourable, Lisa Raitt, Minister of Labour, Canada

3:15PM – Trailblazer Award Ceremony: Samantha Espley Recipient speech

3:30PM – “WIM Canada Careers that Move You” networking session

4:30PM – “WIM Canada Careers that Move You” grand prize draw & wrap-up

 

 

Please note: a PDAC registration/delegate badge is not required for access to this event.

 

 

Visit Women in Mining (WIM) Canada on the Trade Show floor at Booth #913 pre-and post-reception! Become a member, volunteer at the booth, catch up with old friends and cultivate new contacts. Contact them at info@wimcanada.org with any questions and interest in volunteer opportunities.  Admission to the booth requires conference badge.

 

 

WIM Canada is a national not-for-profit organization formed in 2009 and focused on advancing the interests of women in the minerals exploration and mining sector.
