Loncor Gold Inc. (TSX: LN) (OTCQX: LONCF) (FSE: LO51) is pleased to announce that, further to its May 31, 2022 press release, it has closed a non-brokered private placement financing of 6,750,000 units of the Company at a price of Cdn$0.50 per Unit for gross proceeds of Cdn$3,375,000.
Each Unit consists of one common share of the Company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant of the Company, with each Warrant entitling the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the Company at an exercise price of Cdn$0.75 for a period of 24 months following the closing date of the Financing.
The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Financing for continued development of the Company’s Adumbi and Makapela gold deposits and for general corporate purposes.

The Makapela Project (which is 100%-owned by Loncor and is located approximately 50 kilometres from the Imbo Project) has an indicated mineral resource of 614,200 ounces of gold (2.20 million tonnes grading 8.66 g/t Au) and an inferred mineral resource of 549,600 ounces of gold (3.22 million tonnes grading 5.30 g/t Au).
