Jeffrey Christian of CPM Group explains there is no incongruity between platinum supply deficits and declining prices because there are no platinum deficits. The platinum market is in surplus, and that explains lower metal prices. Jeff also provides a detailed analysis of the historical and current market conditions for platinum.
