StrikePoint Gold CEO Mike Allen provides an overview of the Northumberland Gold Project following its acquisition from Newmont. Allen explains that the project is located in Nevada’s Walker Lane and describes it as a Carlin-type, carbonate-hosted gold system. He discusses the company’s due diligence process, which included compiling a modern pit-constrained mineral resource using approximately 197 kilometres of drilling from 1,554 drill holes. According to Allen, the resource totals 2.71 million ounces of indicated gold and 1.57 million ounces of inferred gold. He also discusses the geological setting, noting multiple mineralized horizons and that the deposit remains open down dip to the west. Allen further explains that the principal resource is located on private land, where permitting is managed at the state level, while additional exploration targets extend onto adjacent public land that requires both state and federal permitting.
