GESPEG COPPER RESOURCES INC. (TSX-V:GCR) announces that it has completed its summer work program on the Port Daniel project. The program consisted of 73 stream sediment samples along with a soil sample of each streams banks. Additionally, 325 soil samples were taken from the project lands following targets from last year geophysical survey. Stream and soils samples were delivered to ALS Mineral for Val-d’Or Quebec and the results are pending.

Additionally, a grassroots exploration program for the B-O block (part of Vortex project) will begin on July 22nd 2014. This program will focus on the edges of magnetic anomalies identified during the airborne survey of 2012 while staying at the inner target of “CARDS” Diagnos system (see map). Basic prospecting and Beepmap technology is recommended for this target. The sector is easily accessible by 4X4 vehicle and ATV.

While reviewing historical work on the Vortex lands, 125 historical core boxes from the Sullipek East block (part of Vortex project) were located in a Sainte Anne des Monts core shack and was acquired by the Company. These cores relate to historical work (GM18784, GM21156 and GM23116) completed on the Sullipek East block by Terra Nova Exploration, Ltd in 1966 to 1968. The core will be evaluated during this year program.
