Here, I am joined by newly-promoted C.E.O. and President Craig Hallworth to give an update on Gunnison.
We discuss a bit my own observations following my trip to Gunnison’s Johnson Camp copper mine in Arizona and the game-changing technology of partner Rio Tinto’s Nuton bioleaching technology being added to the copper production effort!
Moving on, Craig unpackages the recent PEA, as well now as the next steps toward doing a Preliminary Feasibility Study (P.F.S.) on the much larger Gunnison Copper Project in the works.
We also discuss the importance of Gunnison recently being made a member of the Department of War’s Defense Industrial Base Consortium (D.I.B.C.,) which should matter greatly as the PFS moves along and as funding needs for eventual construction need to be met.
All told, as you’ll see, Gunnison is one of THE most important parts of a future, Made-in-America copper industry, from mine straight through to finished product. Johnson Camp and Gunnison combined would meet well over 10% of America’s total requirements for finished copper.
And last but certainly not least if you’re an investor, it’s hard to ignore the DIRT cheap valuation the market presently places on Gunnison in comparison to its peer group!
