Arizona Silver Exploration (TSX-V: AZS) (OTCQB:AZASF) Vice President of Exploration Greg Hahn joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share recently shared some exciting news with Steve Darling from Proactive. The company has obtained highly encouraging results from re-assays using the metallic screen procedure on specific drill holes at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona.
According to Hahn, the interval with the highest grade that underwent re-assaying showed a substantial increase of 42.2%. The gold grade rose from 51 grams per ton (Gpt) to 72.5 Gpt. As part of the spring 2023 drilling program, the company selected a total of 24 samples comprising both high and low-grade material for re-assaying. These samples were chosen based on the presence of visible gold. Hahn further explained that the application of the Metallic Screen process resulted in an average grade increase of 25.9% across the selected sample suite. The re-assaying of low-grade samples using the metallic screen method demonstrated grade discrepancies generally below 0.5 gpt gold, with the majority falling below 0.1 gpt gold. This suggests that coarse gold is not a significant concern in the lower grade samples submitted for metallic screen analyses.
