Chad Williams, Executive Chairman of Honey Badger Silver, discussed his takeover of the company and its ambitious three-phase strategy to capitalize on rising silver prices. Starting with a market cap of just $700,000, Chad’s vision is to transform Honey Badger into a billion-dollar investment vehicle by acquiring high-grade silver assets and building a diversified portfolio.
Three-Phase Strategy:
• Phase 1: Raise capital and acquire silver projects with known resources.
• Phase 2: Expand by acquiring more silver projects, reaching a portfolio of approximately 150 million ounces of silver equivalent6.
• Phase 3: Generate cash flow through production and innovative financing, including potential royalty and streaming deals.
Chad emphasized the challenges of acquiring silver assets, especially in politically unstable regions, highlighting the importance of due diligence, strong relationships, and perseverance. The company’s unique approach blends asset ownership with royalty exposure, aiming to act more like an “active ETF” for silver investors.
Honey Badger has acquired seven silver projects in the last four years, including significant assets in Canada’s Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, plus a recent acquisition in Chile. These projects are located in established mining regions and collectively represent substantial historic resources. Chad believes Honey Badger is uniquely positioned for growth as silver prices rise, with a leadership team experienced in value creation and a diversified, high-leverage silver portfolio.
