Prospector News Podcast – Dave Lawie “The Green Economy Gap Is Not So Wide That It Can’t Be Crossed”

Prospector News Publisher is joined by Imdex Chief Geo Scientist Dr. Dave Lawie to continue the discussions on the Green Energy gap and how we can cross it. We first discuss the targets and their achievability. The concern being if it seems futile people will give up.

Next, we discuss the role of government policy and if “Perfect” gets in the way of ‘Improvements” We also discuss how bad policy moves the goalposts further away and make the Green Problem” more of a challenge than it needs to be.

Finally, we discuss the role of technological advancements in making mining more efficient in getting more metals from existing mines, and for getting to uneconomical ore bodies. Additionally, for extracting the minerals that have been left behind in tailings for old operations (this has the dual benefit of getting more needed benefits and cleaning up the environment for previous mines that have been closed.
