Michael Fox interviews Richard Williams, President and CEO of Winshear Metals (TSX-V:WINS) (FRA:9HR0) on the Prospector Podcast to discuss the company’s two exploration projects: a copper-nickel-cobalt project near Aberdeen, Scotland, originally identified decades ago by Rio Tinto and Goldfields, and an early-stage gold project near Thunder Bay, Ontario. Richard explains how recent drilling expanded the Scottish project’s north and south mineralized zones, intersecting mineralization from surface to 350 metres vertical depth, while downhole electromagnetic surveys identified a major conductor east of the south zone. Positive metallurgical testing produced copper concentrates grading up to 25% with no penalty elements and nickel concentrates reaching up to 15%, with cobalt also present as a potential byproduct. The company plans additional drilling before year-end to test new targets and expand the western projection of the north zone, while its Ontario gold program follows up on four large gold anomalies identified through till sampling across approximately 30 kilometres of strike.
