Norman Duncan

Graduated from the UBC Geology program with a BSc. in 1977. After an all-too-brief break bumming around the South Pacific he began working for BHP Billiton where he was employed as an exploration geologist from 1978 to 1990. Norman conducted early stage to pre-development stage exploration programs throughout western and northern Canada. In 1990 he became an investment advisor at C.M.Oliver & Co. Ltd (CMO). In 1999 CMO was taken over by Canaccord Financial where he am currently employed. Norman’s principle activities at Canaccord are assisting his clients in building investment portfolios tailored to their individual requirements.


Gareth Hatch

With over 16 years of technical and business experience, is director of technology for Dexter Magnetic Technologies, founding editor of Terra Magnetica and editor-in-chief of RareMetalBlog. He is interested in the strategic challenges associated with the growing demand for rare earth elements and other rare metals, and how those challenges affect market sectors throughout the entire technology supply chain. A two-time graduate of the UK’s University of Birmingham, Gareth holds a B.Eng. with Honours in Materials Science & Technology, and a Ph.D. in Metallurgy & Materials.
